Board meetings are open to the public and scheduled every 4th Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. November and December are usually combined and held two weeks following Thanksgiving (generally the second Thursday of December). Cancellation of any meeting is posted in accordance with applicable regulations. Directions to the Board of Directors meeting location can be found here.

BCAG is governed by the BCAG Board of Directors, and includes the five current County Board of Supervisors and one representative from each of the City/Town Councils of Butte County's five incorporated localities. The BCAG Board of Director acts as the Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Regional Transportation Planning Agency and Butte Regional Transit policy board.
